Thomas Suffield- Principal

Thomas is an energy professional with 30 years’ experience in development, mergers, acquisitions, project financing, structuring and originating of complex commodity-based transactions, including petrochemical, power generation, renewable energy, and other infrastructure assets. Thomas has been involved in over$3 billion in project financings and transactions.  Previously, Thomas was an Executive Vice President and Partnerwith Stone Bridge Energy Partners, LLC and acted as lead developer for the $200MM RavenChem 1-Buteneproject with 100,00 tons/year in offtake, sold to various chemical companies. Prior to Stone Bridge, he led the Ventures Group at McDermott International, led the Biomass to Power Group at Gavilon, and founded Cedars Capital to develop and fund energy transactions.  Prior to Cedars, he led teams at El Paso, Enron, and Falcon Seaboard to acquire and develop energy infrastructure assets worldwide. His commercial transactions included gas and coal-fired power, midstream and renewable power projects. Thomas earned his BBA and MBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
