June 24, 2019 Chevron Phillips Chemical is expanding its operations in the Middle East with a new petrochemical complex in partnership with Qatar Petroleum, the companies announced Monday. The Woodlands petrochemical giant, a subsidiary of Chevron Corp. and Phillips 66, signed a deal Monday to develop, build and operate a polyethylene and high-density polyethylene plant in Qatar in partnership with the country’s state-owned oil company.
